A story about dreams

Once upon a time there was a little girl named Mae. Her days were full of joy and fun, supported by her loving family.
Her only and most willingness dream was to fly. She wanted it so badly that one day a tiny little fairy came into her bedroom to make her wish come true. The little girl saw a small light around her face, and woke up. At first, she stared at this incredible creature, and thought she was in the middle of a beautiful dream! But, as she touched her, she realised that it was not a dream! It was real.
Mae felt a lot of things at that very moment: were her illusions about to be concerted? She begun to ask the little fairy what was she doing there, and what her purpose was. Did the fairy answer to the little girl’s questions? Indeed she did! But she answered them in the most amazing way: with tears of joy, she began to fly all over the place, carrying Mae in her arms…they floated away with the breeze as their companion, and the fairy’s enchanted gorgeous wings were fully opened to her. They laughed together, all the way through the sky…and Mae was feeling such happiness, that she did not realise that she was far away from home. So far away...and she never came back.
Later that night, her parents founded her little body lying on her bed. They felt sad and happy for their daughter because although it was a very difficult moment, her painful illness was finally over. And she had the most beautiful and peaceful smile on her lips, like the smile of someone who has made its dreams come true.

Oxford tour
